The Rovos Rail offers four beautiful “Pride of Africa” trains with the most spacious train suites in the world. The coaches of Rovos Rail are wood paneled, bringing together pre-war richness and modern convenience and comfort. Each train has up to 20 coaches, some of the dating back to the 1920’s and 1940’s and accommodating 72 passengers each. The suites are air conditioned and carry two people each, with the option of twin or double beds.

Meals are served in a charming Victorian atmosphere dining car and are accompanied by the finest of South African wines. The enthusiastic chefs prepare traditional dishes using fresh local ingredients and game is a specialty. There is a dress codes for meals with the evening meal requiring a jacket and tie for men.
